First time payroll through direct deposit

This was my first doing payroll through through Intuit direct deposit.  Two employees did not get their deposits last night.  All others did.  I have confirmed the routing and  account numbers and I have no failed transmissions.  How do I figure out what went wrong?  Can the employee call their bank?  What can I do on my end?

I want to make sure your employees will receive their deposits, @Tallencon.

 

It's possible that the payroll for your two employees was submitted beyond 5 PM PST 2 business days prior to payday. That's why they haven't received their deposits. To verify, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Choose Send Payroll Data.
  3. In the Items Received area, look and select for the payroll data confirmation.
  4. Click View to see the details.

 

Once verified, you'll want to wait until today to process their deposits.

 

If the payroll was submitted before 5 PM PST, I recommend letting your employees contact their bank. This way, they can verify with them on when the exact time their deposits will be posted to their account.
