having trouble creating report that shows gross wages by employee for specific time frame

I appreciate you coming back to the Community with your question about creating a report that shows gross wages by employee for a specific time frame. 

 

With the details you gave, I recommend running a Payroll Summary Report. This report can also be ran by employee. Here's how: 

 

Payroll Summary Report

 

  1. Go to Reports and choose Standard.
  2. Scroll down to the Payroll section, then click Payroll Summary. You can also enter the report name in the search field to find it.
  3. Set a date range, then hit Apply.
  4. If you want to include or hide a specific detail in this report, pick Customize then Run report.

 

Payroll Summary Report by Employee

 

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Payroll section, then select Payroll Summary by Employee.
  3. Set a date range, then tap Apply.
  4. If you want to include or hide a specific detail in this report, choose Customize then Run report.
