Question

For year 2023, my quickbook is only showing through 10/4/23. How do I see line items from 10/5/23 through 12/31/23?

I can help you locate the line items or the transactions from 10/05/23 to 12/31/23 in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @lasaxton.

It's possible that the dates are not currently set within the specific time frame that you want. I can guide you through the process of setting the date range correctly:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Navigate to the Transactions menu.
  3. Choose Date dropdown then select Custom date, and enter the start date as (10/05/23) and end date as (12/31/23).
  4. Once done select Apply to view the transactions within this date range.

If you're using a mobile device, go to the menu icon (☰) and then select Transactions. Customize the date and check if the transactions are there.

However, if you still don’t see the transactions, ensure that your bank accounts are properly connected and that transactions have been imported correctly. You can also manually upload the transactions to your QBSE account using a CSV file.

Moreover, here's a helpful resource for future help that you can look through to learn more about putting the transactions to the correct line of your Schedule C:
