Has anybody else had problems e-file their 1Q24 Form 941 today? I have wasted an hour resubmitting and following directions.

I am having the same issue with getting a rejection notice that "The value of the LiabilityDay is not valid for the month" when I try to file my 941. I have also wasted at least an hour with this issue.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought it was optional.

Since you know, then why didn't Intuit actually test their product so that their customers can actually submit their payroll forms and fulfill their tax payments smoothly (whatever that word salad actually means) because these things are crucial for staying compliant with tax responsibilities?

If you're getting the notice about a date, it's because this year is a leap year and it seems that collectively Intuit didn't notice until now. Or actually test their forms.

It's complicated. You know, reading the calendar, and/or remembering that every four years there's a Feb 29, which is in fact a valid date. Very advanced stuff.

In another thread, a customer noted that today (4/2/24) they got an update and then it worked when they tried to file again. So, perhaps it'll work for you, too.

Try getting the payroll updates from the Employees menu and then submit the form again to see what happens.

I downloaded the payroll updates again before I created another Form 941 and submitted it on 04/02/2024. I haven't received an email notification letting me know it was received or rejected and Quickbooks shows the Status as Submitted to Agency. It's been 4 days. When can everyone expect this issue to be corrected?

The status Submitted to Intuit means that the forms have been successfully uploaded and transmitted to Intuit's servers. Supposedly, an email confirmation is sent within 24-48 hours, indicating the status of your e-filed forms. This status can be any of the following: Intuit rejected, Submitted to the agency, Agency rejected, or Agency accepted.

If you have submitted your form and haven't received a confirmation email, I suggest you contact our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Support Team. They can help you check your account and provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding the status of your e-filed forms and any potential delays.
