Normally, Wednesday for processing would be enough time, but being that the 25th is Thanksgiving, go w/ Tuesday to stay on the safe side.

Thanks for sharing your concern with us, ChinaTrip2020.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), direct deposit paychecks are required to be submitted to Intuit before 5:00 pm PT, at least 2 banking days prior to the paycheck date. A banking day doesn't include Saturdays and Sundays and days that don't fall on a Federal Reserve Federal holiday, or a state or local holiday.

If your payroll day is Friday, normally, you will process payroll 2 days prior which is Wednesday. However, in your case, you'll want to process the payroll on Tuesday, 24th because of one Holiday.

To give more ideas about the process of changing your pay schedule using the QBO Standard Payroll, please see this article: Set up and manage payroll schedules.
