Getting copies of 1099s for previous years that were filed online

We have QB Essentials and Online Payroll Premium and last year filed our 1099-NEC forms online. One of our vendors needed a copy of hers from 2020 and I was surprised not to find these in the Archived files. I keep PDF copies of these on my computer locally, too, but my computer was hacked in December and I lost some things.

I just spend 1.5 hours on the phone with a very patient and diligent support person at QB trying to get a copy from them and he could not access these, or tell me how to. He got a supervisor on the line, too, and she couldn't help.

I find it unbelievable that we can't get copies of these via QuickBooks (the customer service rep found it unbelievable, too) -- we pay them a lot to handle these kinds of things, and legally we need to keep copies for 3 years.

I was able to find a copy that I had kept with project records, but it should not be this difficult (and the rep did give me a different URL to log in as an accountant and access these records -- that did not work: it kept dumping me into our regular account, not the database with old payroll filings).
