Question

Had to change bank acct no. but i ran a payroll on old acct and it did not process. have changed to new acct but need last PR to hit new acct. Need help to get to hit?

Greetings, @dbiggs-makemynew. I'm here to make sure you can process payroll from the correct bank account in QuickBooks Online.

 

You can either cancel or delete the paycheck as long as the account isn't on hold for non-sufficient funds (NSF). Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck List under Run Payroll,
  3. Change the date range if necessary. Then choose the paychecks you want to delete.
  4. Tap Delete. Check the box to confirm the deletion. Then hit  Delete Paycheck.

 

On the other hand, if it's being held for NSF, you'll have to contact our Payroll Support team before you can make changes and re-run the payroll. Learn more about what to do through this article: Resolve a non-sufficient funds (NSF) hold on your payroll service.
