Has anyone else experienced a ridiculous situation regarding trying to change their verification phone number to make changes to their account? I have heard every excuse

I have submitted a form and drivers license multiple times, been told it will happen in 24 hours just to have to start all over again when it doesn't -no one has the power to make the change apparently

Hello there, @JEFFREYSPRAD2. I’ll point you in the right direction for help regarding verification phone number in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

I understand the importance of having the verification phone number change. We've got separate support who can address this in no time. Since the Community is a public forum we can’t change personal information.

 

There are certain issues that require the assistance of our QuickBooks Support. They'll be able to look into your account in a secure environment, and one of the things they can do for you is update your phone number.

 

  1. Go to the (?) Help icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Select the Search tab, and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief discussion of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Select either Chat with us (if you preferred messaging) or Give us a call.

 

Please ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available. This way, you can contact them at a time that is convenient for you.
