I contacted support yesterday and was transferred and (disconnected) several times with no help.  Spent over 4 hours and still not resolved.  Appears to be an issue on their end but not able to help.  The invitation has been resent several times, tried different browsers and also created a new profile.

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue, plpell-epbfi-com.

Sometimes, disconnected calls happen when our support team is receiving a high volume of calls at the same time. We thank you for your patience. Aside from that, we didn't receive reports pertaining to the error message that you're getting when inviting an employee. You can use a private window (incognito) and check if you're still getting the error. I've provided the shortcuts keys below so you can follow them:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

If you're able to successfully invite an employee without getting the error, return to your default browser. Your cache and extensions are probably interfering with the scripts QuickBooks is trying to run on the page. Clear the cache so you'll be able to work with a clean slate.

However, if you're still getting the same problem, I recommend reaching out to our support team again so they can investigate why is this happening. Aside from that, they have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "QBO Mobile App".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

Still, getting errors with payroll? Well, I'll always be here for you in case you need help.
