Has anyone successfully corrected a w2?

If you have automated taxes and forms turned on and you need to make corrections, please get in touch with our payroll support team. We will fix any errors and file the W-2C form with the Social Security Administration on your behalf. You will receive a copy of the corrected W-2C form to provide to your employee and an updated W-3 form to print for your records. Our expert team will also be able to let you know when you and your employee can expect to receive the corrected forms. 

Here's how you can reach out to them:

1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
2. Type in "Talk to a human," then press Enter.
3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
4. Tap Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
5. Choose between Sending a message or Getting a callback.
    

On the other hand, If you have turned off the automated taxes and forms, you must manually create and file a W-2c and W-3 form with the Social Security Administration. To do this, refer to the General Instructions for Forms W-2c and W-3c section in the General Instructions for Forms W-2 and W-3.
