Having trouble adding a new bank account

I tried to setup a business account for the payroll, but the bank closed my account during the waiting of the two small deposits verification. Now I cannot get through the verification process to add another bank. Asked the chat agent but so hard to make us on the same page.

 

Any idea what to do?

 

Had ended the subscription. Any other payroll service recommendation?

Since we can't bypass the verification process, I recommend selecting the Verify your account option and entering random debits. This way, incorrect digits will cause it to fail, prompting QuickBooks to update your bank account information with a new one.

 

If this doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend to reach out to our QuickBooks Payroll Support as they have the tool to help you remove the closed account and help you with setting up your new bank.

I get stuck at this step. The account ending in -0888 got closed by chase before I get the deposits. I cannot either add this account or add a new one.

 

So dumb.

To help you move past this hurdle, I recommend contacting our dedicated QuickBooks Payroll Support team. They can assist in removing the closed bank account (ending in -0888) in your payroll setup, allowing you to add a new bank account for payroll processing. 

To reach our live team, here's how: 
 

  1. Log in to your QBO account, then go to Help (?).
  2. Click on Search, then Contact Us.
  3. Please select Payroll as a topic.
  4. Choose to Have us call you to save your spot in line.

 

If you prefer, you can also ask them to handle the addition of the new account for you. This can provide you with greater convenience and ensure everything is set up correctly.
