Health Insurance deductions

Payroll health insurance deductions were not set up correctly originally so payroll deductions and monthly insurance premiums offset from the same account. How do I fix this?

Hi Slambler,

 

It's good you found that the premium offsets from the same account. I'll help you correct this.

 

What we can do is change the account to the insuarance so the all the transactions will be transferred to the correct account. 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Payroll settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Accounting section and click the pencil icon.
  3. Go to the Company Contribution Expense Accounts section where you can see your Insurances and click the Pencil icon.
  4. Change the assigned account and click Save.
