Your security and privacy are important to us, tiffany.

If you're processing, storing, or transmitting any payment card information, including ACH account details, it is important to ensure PCI compliance. It's crucial for protecting sensitive payment information, ensuring the security of your customer's data, and meeting legal and industry standards. You can sign up using your email address connected with your Merchant account at www.securitymetrics.com/pcidss/intuit.

Since you're contacted by someone claiming to be a Compliance Consultant, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have tools to verify whether the call is legit or not. They can also share more details about PCI DSS.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the Send icon.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. You can either select Chat with us or Have us call you.

Regarding the specific requirements and potential fines, it is best to contact Security Metrics support. Doing so ensures you meet all the requirements and obligations. You may also want to check out these resources for more info about this matter:

We're always here if you have other PCI Compliance concerns. I'll gladly answer them for you. Take care, and have a great day!
