My thought: Intuit needs to fix a bug on their end with my account, but because their support is so useless and there is no way to get a ticket to the right person, my hope is by posting to the community a moderator might help. also expose Intuit for having a crappy product

The countless time contacting support ends here, smalad. I'm determined to help you resolve the Payroll Overview screen issue.

Getting a blank screen on the Payroll Overview is oftentimes caused by a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect the performance of QuickBooks Online, which can cause unexpected behavior.

To resolve this, I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed, view the Payroll Overview screen. If you're able to see the details, I'd recommend clearing the browser's cache. This removes its stored cache to ensure QuickBooks will perform efficiently.

If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using different supported browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I encourage running payroll reports in QuickBooks Online. This helps you view useful information about your business and employees. You can also customize the reports to filter the details that matter to you. Then, memorize them to save the current customized settings.

Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in resolving this blank screen issue. It's my priority to ensure you're able to view the details you need.

Hi - actually it doesn't help.   For clarity before I even 'chatted' with support - i cleared all cache and history, i also used Chrome (which i never use) vs. Safari.  For good measure I also logged in with another computer - that I never go to intuit with and same issue.  And, if that wasn't enough to prove it's a bug - i have no issues with my other payroll account with Quickbooks - just this one.   I have tried everything I can do, and am not getting anywhere.
