Thank you for joining us here in the Community, Chris5020.

I'm here to ensure that your concern about the pre-authorization fees is addressed appropriately by the right support channel.

Billing, refunds, charges, and payments-related issues require special handling. The process requires us to gather personal data to view your account information.

Since the security of your account always comes first, I recommend you contact our Payments Support Team. They have additional tools to review the charges in your account and then explain why the other amount is still on your bank or credit card account. You can also ask our specialists about the time frame for the pre-authorization charge to fall off.

This article provides an overview of the fee types as well as the amount charged for each transaction: What are the fees for QuickBooks Payments? We also gathered articles to help users manage their payment activities more effectively. They're organized by topic so you can find the reference quickly.

Feel free to visit the Community if you have other QuickBooks concerns or additional questions about pre-authorization charges. I'll get back to make sure you're taken care of. Have a great day ahead.
