In my payroll tax center in QBO it shows that I need to pay a tax form and I already paid it. It is not letting me archive the tax form. Is there anyway around this?

Let me share a few details about why you can't archive tax forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Jeneaneb.

In QuickBooks Online, the archive option for payroll tax forms has been removed. This is the reason why you're unable to do it on your end.

But there's no need to worry, even though you can't manually archive it, QBO automatically takes care of this. Once you record the tax payment and filing, QBO automatically archives the form for your records. You'll be able to access it later for reference. I'll show you how:

  1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. From Payroll Tax, choose the Filings tab.
  3. Scroll down below, and select Archive forms and filings.
  4. Set the appropriate date filter.
  5. Locate the form, then click View.

Moreover, to ensure you'll have a closer look at your payroll transactions, I've got this article for your guide: Run Payroll Reports.
