Please tell me there is a way to opt out or disable the intuit banners pushing their various services. They are a disruption to workflow and even after closing a banner out, it just appears again, and again, and again. Please make it stop!

I myself don't want to see ads when I'm using my QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, partyjumps.

Banners are designed to guide and suggest to you how to optimize your QuickBooks experience. They're affecting your navigation and the only way to remove them is to click the X or No thanks button.

While there isn’t an option to turn off any pop-ups, we can perform a few tweaks in your browser to block it. Here’s how:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click the More (three vertical dots) icon.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Under Privacy and security click Site settings.
  5. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.

In the meantime, I recommend keeping an eye on our Firm of the Future page. That way you can keep track of any updates as they hit the product.

Stay in touch with me if in case you have additional questions about the ads you're seeing on your QBO account. Just leave a comment below and I'll be around to help you.

Thank you Mary for your quick response.  I have had those settings in place for a while, but the ads are banners inside the QBO pages and seem to not be affected by these settings.  From everything I can find researching the issue, and speaking with support, this is an executive decision to advertise intuit services to their subscription paying base and there is no intention of removing it.  Kind of a d̜͌ic̭̚k move, but it is free advertising so I understand the logic.  I personally would not do this to my customer base, but I do not run intuit and alas it seems like it is up to me to accept their practices and continue using QBO or seek an inferior product elsewhere.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
