I'll help you correct your tax payment in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll.
The option to edit incomplete tax payments is unavailable in the program. If it's manually recorded or hasn't been processed yet (electronic payment), then you can still delete it. Remember, this option only applies to QBO Payroll Enhanced subscription and not in Full Service.
To delete, follow these steps:
Go to the Taxes menu and select Payroll tax.
Under Tax resources, click Tax payment history.
Select the name of the tax payment. Change the date range if necessary.
From the View and Print Form drop-down, choose Delete.
Select Yes to confirm.
If you don't see the Delete button or the payment was already processed, contact our Payroll Support Team for assistance.
Additionally, you can run some payroll reports in QuickBooks. This way, you can get a closer look at your business's finances and view useful information about your business and employees.
