How can i get this to generate payroll checks? i can print any check other than payroll. wont generate reports ...help

qb generates correct deductions, but, wont generate checks to print.

Let me guide you on how you can print payroll checks in QuickBooks Online.

 

To do this, you'll need to set up the paycheck printing preferences first.

 

Like this:

 

  1. Go to Gear ⚙️ icon.
  2. Choose the Payroll Settings.
  3. In the Printing section, select the edit ✎ icon.
  4. Tap on Preprinted QuickBooks-compatible check paper.
  5. Select Print 1 pay stub or Print 2 pay stubs. If this is the first time you're printing checks, select Align check.
  6. Click on Save, then Done.

 

Once done, you're now ready to print paychecks for your employees.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the  Payroll menu, then Employees.
  2. In the My Payroll section, click on Paycheck List.
  3. Select the paychecks you'd like to print, then click on Print.
