How can I recover my account when I accidentally re-signed up for services the wrong way?

I had suspended the account due to the business closing, but am trying to finalize 2022 taxes (I know, but we had an extension filed). I couldn't update the bank register and tried to sign up again, but it seems to have taken me back to the beginning. Can I recover my previous account/data??

If you have suspended your previous QuickBooks account, you can recover your data by resubscribing it. Then, you can cancel the newly signed-up account. 

 

To resubscribe:

 

  1. Sign in to the suspended QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. Select Resubscribe.
  4. Select the appropriate payment method.
  5. Enter the updated payment and billing information.
  6. Tap Resubscribe.
