Salaried employee has 65 hours in Clockshark and worked on ten jobs. Time was imported from Clockshark and I need to know what dollar amount was charged to each job for this employee.

Probably, look at the paycheck details to see the how the salary is broken down by Job.

I know a report that you can use to view the time activities provided by each employee, including hourly rate and duration, Linda.

The Time Activities by Employee Detail report is available for you to see the cost by employee per job. Here's how to run the report:

  1. Open the Reports menu.
  2. From the search box, type in Time Activities by Employee Detail.
  3. Click to open the report.

See this guide if you want to make some edits on the report content: Customize report in QuickBooks Online.

Mitch:

Thanks for letting me know about the Time Activities by Employee Detail report. That helps on one level, but I still need to know how much of the salaried employee's pay is being tracked to these Time Activities.

Hi there, @linda-generation.

Let me join this conversation to make sure you'll be able to run the report that shows how much of the salaried employee's pay is being tracked.

We can run the Payroll Details report. This report shows the total hours worked by each employee with the net and gross pay, other pay if there's any, and the breakdown of the employee taxes and deductions.

To run this report:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Find report by name section, type Payroll Details.
  3. Click to open the report.

However, if the desired information isn't available with this report, I'd recommend sending this feature to our product developers so this will be taken into consideration for the next product enhancements. To do so, please follow the following steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share your feedback.
  4. Click Next to submit.

You can refer to this link so you can check the status of your request and keep updated on the newest updates by our Product Developers: Customer Online Customer Feedback.

Additionally, if you need to print reports for future use, feel free to read through this article: Print reports in QuickBooks Online.
