Question

How can we add prices to my services as low as $0.035 per unit? Because right now I’m just able to go with 2 decimals and I need 3

Hi there, okunenergy.

The Amount column will round off the value to two decimal places by default. While the Rate column allows up to three decimal digits.

Our goal is to consistently deliver a product that our customers can rely on for their business and enhance the working experience. Thus, incorporating the function to add more decimal places in the Amount column is a great addition.

Let's send this idea to our product engineers for inclusion in future releases. Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), head to the Gear icon in the upper right and select Feedback under Profile.
  2. Type a brief description of your product suggestions in the field box.
  3. Click Next to submit.

You can browse through the QuickBooks Blog to keep you in the loop on the latest product updates and news. These resources include topics about managing your inventory and services:

Feel free to leave a comment below if you have clarifications about pricing and managing your items or services. I'll get back to help the best that I can.
