I'm happy to assist you with exporting your QuickBooks Payroll, @accounting621.

Transferring the data from your QBO payroll to QBO Plus with payroll core is unavailable, as it should be a stand-alone payroll to stand-alone QBO Plus. I suggest using a third-party app that can export and import your data. Follow these steps to check:

  1. On the left side panel of your screen, click Apps.
  2. Select Find Apps.
  3. Hit Browse, then select Manage Data

As a workaround, we can create a new account without a payroll to transfer your payroll data directly.

Here's how:

  1. Go to your Core, Premium, or Elite Payroll account.
  2. Select the Gear icon, and then click the Payroll settings.
  3. Hit Export, then select Edit.
  4. Choose your accounting software:
  • QuickBooks Desktop for Windows
  • QuickBooks Desktop for Mac
  • QuickBooks Online - You'll be prompted to sign in to your QuickBooks Online account to synchronize them. Once signed in, choose the company on which your payroll transactions should synchronize.
  1. Click Continue.
  2. QuickBooks will create default accounts for wages, expenses, and liabilities. You can click Edit to modify them.
  3. Hit Done twice.

To export your payroll transactions, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Overview.
  2. In the shortcuts, click Export.
  3. You can use the Filters dropdown to select and find transactions to export.
  4. Hit Export.
