Let's make sure you'll be able to recover your payroll data, danafr3.

Payroll information is limited during the conversion process. Payroll checks will come over as regular check, so you'll have to enter past payroll totals (year-to-date payroll information) for each employee. Since Desktop has more payroll features, some of the information may be dropped, including pay types and employee personal information. However, since you were promised a correction, I recommend reaching out to our support team so they'll be able to check the status. Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter your concern.
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

Moreover, learn how your books move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. Go through this article for your guide: Learn How Features and Data Move From QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

Reach out to us if you need anything else about the conversion. We'll be glad to help.
