I know how you can set up a carryover of unused time limited to 400 hours, towncountryagenc.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there is no option to carry over unused time off, but you can set up to accrue a maximum of 48 hours per year with a specific maximum of 400 hours to accrue each paycheck. Here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll and choose Employees.
  2. Select the employee, then hit Edit beside the Pay types section.
  3. Under Time off pay policies dropdown, click the Sick Pay dropdown and select Add new sick pay policy.
  4. On the Hours are accrued dropdown, choose Each pay period, then on Hours per year, type in 48.
  5. On the Maximum allowed box, type in 400 and hit Save.

Additionally, I'll add this article to help you assign and update a pay schedule: Set up and manage payroll schedules.
