Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure to share steps so you can adjust an employee's hourly pay.
To start with, I suggest going to the Employees section. From there, you'll have the option to edit any details including the employee's hourly pay/rate.
Here's how:
Go to the Payroll menu on the left panel.
Choosethe Employees section.
Select the employee's name. Then, choose the Edit employee button.
You'll be routed to the Edit employee details page. Then, go to the How much do you pay this employee? to click the pencil icon.
Click the Pay type drop-down arrow and choose Hourly.
Enter the updated amount in the Rate per hour.
Make any changes in the other fields if necessary.
