How do I bypass the UI tax since I do not have to pay?

Let's bypass the UI ID by doing some trick, @je-alphathriveco.

I have a workaround to bypass the UI in setting up a QuickBooks Online Payroll account. Happy to share the detailed steps, so you can start handling your payroll data. 

You'll need to enter a zero UI ID in the box to go through the payroll setup. Examples of acceptable entries: 

• 000000
• 000-000-000/000
• 000000-0

Ensure to follow the examples above to avoid any tax issues moving forward. 

After that, let's exempt the state since you don't pay UI tax. Do the following: 

1. Click the Gear icon, then select Payroll Settings. 
2. On the Preferences page, go to the Tax Setup tab. 
3. Select the appropriate State and go to the Tax Exemptions section. 
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
