How do i change my edd number in QB?

I'm here to share information about changing an EDD number in QuickBooks Online.

Once your business is registered with the EDD, you will be given an eight-digit employer payroll tax account number, also known as state employer ID. To change this information in the program, you'll have to contact our Payroll Support Team. This way, we'll be able to pull up your account in a secure session and then u[date your state account number. Here's how:

1. Go to the Help icon.
2. Select Talk to a human.
3. Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar.
4. Choose I still need a human, then click Contact us.
5. Select Get a callback or Send a message to start a conversation.

Take note that the reactivation process will take 1-2 business days. In addition, you won't be able to pay or file your state taxes electronically until you're reactivated for state electronic services.
