Thank you for visiting the Community today, pestpracticepa-g.

I recognize how essential it is for your company to tailor the pay period based on the days mentioned. Let's get you connected with the appropriate support so you can change the day for the beginning and ending dates for your payroll schedule.

We'll have to review the payroll setup for your employees and then update the pay period. However, the process requires us to gather personal data to open an account.

Since the security of our customers is our top priority, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. They can help you set a specific day for the start and end dates for your payroll. Follow the steps below to get the support information:

  1. In your company, navigate to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
  2. Go to the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field. For example, change the pay period.
  3. Click the Get help from a human link and type a phrase or keyword in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Tap the Continue button to view the support options.
  5. Choose Chat to start a conversation and Callback to speak with an agent.

Here's an article that goes into detail about the various types of payroll schedules, including how to create, assign, and update one: Set up and manage payroll schedules.

If you need more information about payroll or other related tasks, feel free to browse the Community guide (payroll). It includes resources for managing your employees' employment information, filing taxes, and filing forms, to name a few.

Keep me posted if you have other QuickBooks concerns or additional questions about payroll schedules. I'm always ready to answer them for you. Have a great rest of the day.
