First, ensure you access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account as the primary admin to make these changes. Then, proceed to follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Payroll settings.
3. Click the Pencil icon for the state in which you want to make changes.
4. Edit the number.
5. Once done, click Save.
