Thanks for reaching out to the Community, ejhumble.
You have the option to manage your employee's pay from their profile. I'll guide you how.
Go to Payroll and select the Employees tab.
In the Employee list page, click your employee's name to open it.
From the Employee details tab, click the Pay pencil icon.
Under the How much do you pay [employee name] section, edit your employee's rate.
Click Done.
After updating the hourly/salary rate, you can run Employee Details report to view a snapshot and compare the employee's previous and new rate. It includes the pay type, and other payroll data.
Here's how:
Go to Reports.
In the Find report by name field, type in "Employee Details."
Select an employee from the Employee drop-down menu.
Click Run report.
You can also customize reports by applying multiple filters if you want additional information to show. Check out this article for more information: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
I'm adding this article for future reference about running payroll reports in QuickBooks Online: Run payroll reports. This will help you identify what specific report you're going to use to keep track of your books for payroll.
