How do I create W-4s?

Thanks for asking the Community today. In QuickBooks, you can enter your employees’ W-4s. 

You can either enter their W-4 with a 2019 form or use a W-4 form with the 2020 update. Please ensure you're logged in as the Primary admin or added as a Company admin or Standard user with payroll access in QuickBooks Online.

Then, follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the Payroll menu, then select Employees.
2. Select the name of the employee, then select Edit beside Pay.
3. Select the 2020 W-4 or later radio button.
4. Select Update, then enter the employee's W-4 information into the form.
5. Select Done to save.
