How do I enroll and pay my quarterly taxes with EFTPS and Quick books.

I can show you how, evemsavage.

 

You can enroll through the EFTPS website. Go to https://www.eftps.gov/eftps/ and select Enroll. Select Individual and enter all details needed. You'll receive your PIN and enrollment number by US mail. It will also take 5-7 days for the IRS to generate your PIN.

 

These are the steps on how to pay your taxes within QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Just a heads up, this option is only available if you have a tax bundle subscription.

  1. Go to Taxes tab and select Quarterly Taxes.
  2. Select Pay Now and choose Online.
  3. Enter your EFTPS details. Click Continue and simply follow the onscreen instructions.

Another way to pay your quarterly taxes is through the EFTPS website. Just click on Make a Payment button and fill out the information needed.

I've gotten a few new payroll clients recently.  When I try to set them up on EFTPS so that I can pay the FTD's and file the quarterly and annual reports the (some) clients get a form that needs notarized?  Does anyone have a clue why the client is receiving the form to notarize?  Most don't want to deal with finding a notary, etc., so I end up filing their FTD's through the IRS batch provider software.  Much easier to do through QB.
