How do I enter YTD employee wages in QB online? We just switched from desktop to online and I wasn't aware the payroll information didn't transfer.

You can go to the Employees menu and enter their YTD wages from there. However, you can only do this process if you haven't run payroll in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QBO account.
2. Click Payroll from the left menu, then select Employees.
3. Select the employee from the list.
4. In the Pay section, click the pencil icon to edit.
5. Go to the Step 6 section and click the pencil icon to edit the employee's pay history.

If you already process payroll in your QBO account, I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Payroll Team. This way, they can help you enter the employee's YTD wages. Please follow the steps below to contact them:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click the Help button.
3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
4. Select Contact Us.

Once your payroll information are all set, you can now proceed on processing your payroll in QBO.
