How do I increase the minimum sick hours for all employees. Currently set at 24 but CA raised it to 40

Good day, @centralcoastdryw. Let me share insights about setting up hours for sick pay in QuickBooks. 

 

We can only set a maximum allowed hours accrued for sick pay and the policy you've selected during the setup.

 

If you wish to edit your sick pay, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Payroll and select Employees.
  2. Click the name of the employee.
  3. Go to the Pay types section, then click Edit.
  4. In the Time off policies, click the sick pay pencil icon you want to edit.
  5. Make any adjustments and select Save.
