How do i invite an emplyee who is no longer active to workforce so he can get his w2? his name does not appear on the workforce list?

I have some helpful insights to share with you on how to invite an inactive employee back to the QuickBooks Online workforce. 

 

To start, you can easily resend a workforce invitation to your employee's new email address by canceling their access and then resending the invitation to their updated email address. It's a simple process, and I'll guide you through the steps: 

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Payroll from the left menu, then select Employees.
  3. Choose the employee you need to resend the invitation to.
  4. At the upper right corner of your screen, below the Actions columns select Send invite.
  5. Then, edit the employee’s email address and click Send email.

 

After resending the invitation, your employee will receive a new invitation and you invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see pay stubs, W-2s, and more.

 

Additionally, it might be helpful to provide this article to your employees: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce. This will help them see their paychecks, W-2s, and personal information in Workforce.
