How do I link a payroll account with the new Quickbooks account I just set up?

I have an already existing QuickBooks Online Payroll account and I just recently purchased Quickbooks to do my year end accounting. Is there a way to link my existing payroll account in my new quickbooks account? Both show active but I'd like my payroll to automatically show up in my transactions.

I'm here to share some information about linking your payroll account with your new QBO account.

 

The system is unable to link your existing payroll to the new account. You may consider canceling your standalone payroll and re-subscribe within QBO. 

 

Regarding your data, you may consider exporting and importing them as Journal Entry. Or, enter them through the prior payroll process.
