I just re'cd a pay raise which i updated under "Products and Services".  However the raise is retro to the first of month and it appears that invoicing won't reflect the change prior to the day i made the change (24th of the month)

Hi, and welcome to the Community, swaag.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), changing your cost and selling price isn't retroactive. It only affects future transactions. This is only available when editing the income account of an item (inventory type).

I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. We'd love to hear your input. I recommend leaving feedback to notify our engineers about the feature you need. This way, they can consider adding it in future updates.

Here's how to submit:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

As a workaround, you'll need to manually edit the invoices before the day you make the changes.
