How do I pay my C-Corp Board Members through quickbooks?

2 Board members are already employees on payroll, but I need to pay board members separate from just normal payroll. Also, is there a certain way I pay Holiday Bonus?

Hi there, halleycf. 

 

I'm here to guide you on how to pay your board members in QuickBooks Online.

 

You'll have the option to set a payment schedule if you'll want to separate it to your employee. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to Gear ⚙ and select Account and Settings. 
  2. Click Payroll Settings.
  3. Select Pay Schedules from the Payroll and Services section.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Enter the pay period and pay date. 
  6. Once done, click OK.
