How do I remove Illinois state filing

Hello there, @mdsmassey

 

Thanks for turning to the Community for your concern. We can inactivate the state (Illinois) to remove it from the Payroll Settings.

 

Before doing so, ensure there are no active employees assigned to that state as their work location. Once confirmed, follow the steps below. 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Payroll Settings.
  3. Click Work Locations in the Company and Account.
  4. Select Illinois state, then mark the Inactive checkbox.
  5. Hit Save.
