I have an hourly technician that works for my company. She spends two or three days a week on our work, and she consults through my company for another company here in town for her remaining hours. The consulting work is hopefully not a long term thing, It's hopefully while the other company is starting up. What is the best way to set this up so she can record her hours through Quickbooks time and allow me to generate at least a report of her hours to the other company so I can get reimbursed for them?

Hello there, @hugh-cox. I appreciate you for sharing your concern in the Community forum.

I can see how you would want and need to record your employee's hours between internal work and when he's consulting work for another company. You'll want to edit the time, or use the manual time card to enter in a number of hours.

If you need further assistance, you can contact us on our website. Or, on your mobile device, in QuickBooks Time, at the top left, tap the profile icon, select Help & Support, then Contact QuickBooks Time Support.
