Hi, Joe.

I understand that the in-product ads may cause delays while doing tasks in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, these ads suggest new features and program updates that are timely and can be useful for your business. At this time, you'll need to manually close the ads or pop-up by clicking the "X" or "Close" button to prevent it from showing again.

The good news is, you can always use the Feedback feature to send this idea directly to our engineering team. This way, they could take action to help improve your experience. Rest assured they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences to all QuickBooks users.

Here's how you can send feedback through QuickBooks:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then click on Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development Team to help improve your QuickBooks experience.

For additional resources while working with QuickBooks in the future, you can also review the resources from this article: Find QuickBooks help articles, Community discussions with other QuickBooks users, video tutorials, and more. From there, select the topic you need help with such as account management, banking, reports, and others.

Let me know if you have any other follow-up concerns about the QuickBooks pop-up notifications. I'll be right here to help. Keep safe!
