Thank you for posting here in the Community, @readyset. I can add additional information regarding your concern about viewing paystubs in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, once you run payroll to pay your employees, it will automatically generate paychecks, and all the generated paychecks will show on your Paycheck list. I'll guide you through the steps to view or print your employee's paychecks in QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu, then Employees.
  2. Under Run payroll, click the Paycheck list.
  3. Select the paycheck you want to view or print. If you want to change the Date range or Employee, you can click the Filter dropdown.
  4. In the Action column, select Print.
  5. Select the printer icon to print once a preview of the paycheck or pay stub opens.

Please refer to this article for more details about printing checks: Print paychecks and pay stubs in Online Payroll.

Furthermore, you can pull up the Payroll Detail report in QBO and then customize it with the details you want to include on the report. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Reports page.
  2. Locate and open the Payroll Detail report.
  3. Select Customize to modify the details you want to include in the report. Also, the reporting period.
  4. Then hit Run report to save changes.

You can refer to this article to learn more about customizing the reports and focus on the details that matter the most to you: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. You can also memorize it to save its current customization settings. It will serve as your record and help you quickly access it for future use.

I've also added this article for a list of payroll reports available in QuickBooks Online: Run payroll reports.

Please don't hesitate to reach back if you have clarification managing paystubs or any other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be happy to assist you at any time. Take care!
