How do set up payment alerts(someone paid) for myself and bookkeeper when someone pays online.

Good day, usergardenrenovation.

 

You have the option to enable your QuickBooks Payments preferences to receive notifications for paid invoices. You'll receive an email notification within 1 hour after your client paid the invoice. I can guide you on how.

 

  1. Log in to https://merchantcenter.intuit.com.
  2. Choose Settings & Alerts under Account.
  3. Select Yes under Receive Credit Card Deposit Notification in the Email Alerts section.
  4. Enter the email address where you'd like to receive the notifications. For multiple email addresses, separate them with semi-colons. 
  5. Enter the email address in the empty box that appears when you click a notification's Yes radio button.
  6. Save the information.

Can you provide instructions on how to change the recipient of the payment notifications in QuickBooks desktop ? When I sign in to the merchant center and choose settings I do not get an option fir email alerts.   I only can choose landing page.
