In QuickBooks Online, vendors are usually added in the Expenses section for managing bills and expenses. However, when it comes to payroll, you can add them as contractors. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Payroll and select Contractors.
  2. Click Add a Contractor.
  3. Enter your contractor’s info.
  4. When you're done, click Add Contractor.
