Changing the method of your tax payment in QuickBooks is just an easy step@philkusiakAnd I'm happy to guide how to do this in your account.

I'll make sure you can automatically pay your taxes through QuickBooks Online. Thus you can save time and avoid delays.

If you want to prepare your tax payments and process them electronically via QuickBooks, here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Go to the Gear icon menu and choose Payroll Settings.
  2. In Taxes, select E-file and E-pay.
  3. In the E-pay and E-file Setup page, click E-file and e-pay
  4. Select NC as your state.
  5. Enter the bank account info to proceed with the connection.
  6. Choose E-sign to approve your documents. Ensure to complete and pass the questions.
  7. You can select to print, then sign the documents. And call our support to send the paper for configuration.

We'll process the enrollment once the authorization forms and banking information have been verified. You'll receive an email after your payroll account is active for E-File & Pay. For more details, see this link: Set up e-file and e-pay in Online Payroll.

If you want QuickBooks to process all your tax payments, I'd recommend that you enable the Automatic Tax Payment feature. Follow these steps as outlined below:

  1. Go to the Settings icon and choose Payroll Settings
  2. Click Edit in the Taxes and forms section.
  3. Pick the second option, which QuickBooks will let you know when your payments and forms are due.
  4. Hit Save
