Hi toddwrecker,

Changing the bank account where payroll was taken from will require you to delete and recreate the paycheck and change the account in your Accounting preference for payroll. Good thing it wasn't a direct deposit. I'll walk you through the steps.

Print the paystub and delete the paycheck:

  1. Go to Payroll and select Employees.
  2. Click the Paycheck list hypertext in blue on the right side.
  3. Click on the transaction that needs change.
  4. Select Print to print the stub, and then Delete
  5. Choose Delete from the popup message to confirm.

Change the bank account in your payroll preference:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Payroll settings.
  2. Click the Pencil icon for Accounting.
  3. Click the Pencil icon for Paycheck and payroll tax payments.
  4. Change the bank account and click Continue.
  5. Click Done to exit from the setup.

After changing the bank account, recreate the paycheck using the information from the paystub, and that's it.

Please know that you can only delete the latest paycheck, so if this one is second from the latest paycheck, you need to delete the latest one first.
