The pop-up notifications are designed to suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks experience. I know that the ads might make it hard for you to move around, but there is currently no way to turn them off permanently in QuickBooks. I'd suggest clicking the X or No, thanks buttons to remove the pop-ups from your QuickBooks homepage.

You can also turn on your browser's pop-up blocker. This stops pop-ups from coming up. Let me explain how:

1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.  
2. Select Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
3. Hover over the Pop-ups and redirects section, and select Block from the drop-down menu.

If the problem keeps happening, you should also see if there's a third-party app or browser extension that can stop QuickBooks services from popping up.
