Question

How do you request faster payroll funding? Apparently the link is broken. We have done this before and never receive a response. Has anyone had luck with this? TIA

Hi there, @WB19681.

I'll be happy to help you request quicker payroll funding.

In QuickBooks, your payroll funding time depends on your payroll service. If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium or Elite, your workers are paid the same day you send your payroll to us. You can also check your funding time through the following steps:

  1. Select Settings, then Payroll settings.
  2. Scroll to the Direct Deposit section. You'll see your funding time above your direct deposit limits.

However, since you want a faster funding time, you can submit a request online. Your most recent six months of bank statements are required, and you can upload them with your request. As a result, the amount of money your direct deposit can change. Feel free to send your request through this link: Faster funding time request. Once done, our team will contact you once your information has been reviewed.

Know that you can always switch back to a longer funding time if in case you need to process a direct deposit payroll that's higher than your direct deposit limit.

In addition, QuickBooks offers a selection of payroll reports. You will be able to see more details about the overall compensation, tax deductions, and other financial data for each of your employees over time. Please take a look at this article: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

I'll be here if you have additional payroll concerns, I'm just a reply away. Take care!

I've had QB payroll since 2009 and have had 2 day funding without any issues, until my bank account got hacked in 2022. I immediately contacted QB to inform them of the hack and the new account number, a member of QB team assured me everything was in order and our company would receive our payroll without delay. well team member Michael was right and we did get paychecks on time, only QB pulled from the wrong account and kept pulling from the wrong account for two weeks. charging me with insufficient funds. Then changed my process time to 5 days and had to start over, going thru the waiting time of 6 months just like a new account and that's fine since there's no way to talk to an accrual human that make decisions. so I wait, and wait and wait I send in applications and that's been 6 additional months and still nothing.

I miss actual humans doing the work, that they now assign to a computer program.

I'm aware that you've already gotten in touch with them, but it's the best we can do right now given that they have all the tools required to safely look at your account through screen sharing.
