I'll help get your customer cancel the  payment. You'll have to void the transaction to cancel a payment. QuickBooks Payments allows you to process refunds within six months from the date of sale. After this period, you can provide a refund using cash or check. Let me guide you how.

 

To void and fully refund a transaction:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Payments account.
  2. From the Processing Tools drop-down, go to Reverse Transaction.
  3. Fill out the necessary fields and select Search.
  4. Choose the transaction you want to refund, click Submit.
